- The largest forest product companies (with foreign capital) are based in Misiones (Montecarlo, Puerto Piray, Eldorado) and, to a lesser extent, in Corrientes (Virasoro). In addition to these large and medium-sized companies, there is a large hub of small producers (mainly sawmills).
